Recreation Specialist – Matterhorn Team
Bryce Beard was born in California but grew up in Oregon. He spent most of his childhood camping, hunting, and fishing in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating high school Bryce attended Culinary school in Edinburgh, Scotland. He worked in kitchens for a few years before working as a Wildland Firefighter for the US Forest Service. After the Forest Service he joined the US Army for 4 years. Once he finished his enlistment, he went back to the Forest Service until moving to Salt Lake City in October of 2019. Bryce joined the Elevations Recreation team in June of 2020.
Some fun facts about Bryce; he has attended Aviation school to earn his private helicopter license and was also trampled by a bull in Spain during the running of the bulls. When he’s not adventuring with the students at Elevations, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, climbing, and really anything that gets him outdoors. He is always looking for a new experience, adventure, or opportunity. Bryce believes in a willingness to explore new things and likes to surround himself with positive people that like to get work done.
