Yes, Elevations is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission) and AdvancED / Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. We are also licensed by the Utah Department of Human Services.

Absolutely, Elevations’ clinical, medical and academic teams are licensed/credentialed in their respective subject areas in order to deliver the highest quality of services possible to your child.

We strive to make every moment therapeutic for your child. Our entire team provides thoughtful, consistent and effective interventions whether in the cafeteria, the classroom, on the sports field or during therapeutic groups.

We want the best for your child’s education, therefore we incorporate a subject specific instructional model that stands out from all other adolescent treatment programs. For more information about academic programming and curriculum, call today!

We strive to provide each student with individualized attention through smaller class sizes (9-10 students on average) in a classroom. All of our classes are co-ed and offer live instruction.

Within the first 10 days of a student’s arrival at Elevations, we administer educational tests to gauge each student’s general grade level equivalencies, strengths and weaknesses.

Elevations’ student population largely mirrors that of the “typical” high school in terms of substance use or experimentation. While substance abuse may be a part of the problem for our students, we are not a primary form of intervention or inpatient treatment center for students whose main problem is severe substance dependence.

Generally, it takes 8-10 months to complete our program, but this length of stay can vary based on your child’s unique needs, emotional state and behaviors.

Our students participate in daily physical fitness activities supervised by a licensed physical education teacher.

Your child will reside in a single gender dormitory and will share a room with 2-3 other students. Each student is encouraged to bring their own bedding, clothing and personal items for comfort.
