Precalculus is the course of mathematics that prepares a student for calculus.

Pre-calculus is a class designed to effectively prepare students for the complexities of calculus, a class many teens have difficulty learning. Furthermore, pre-calculus is critical for progressing one’s mathematic ability.

Without pre-calculus, a student may be ill-prepared for calculus which could then overwhelm the individual. This unready advancement may then discourage the student from putting forth an effort in mathematics altogether, reducing their chances of meeting academic goals or ambitions.
