Kevin is from the woods outside of Pittsburgh PA, and he grew up in a hunting, fishing, and camping family. He really did not get into the outdoor adventure sports world until he attended Slippery Rock University, for Outdoor Adventure Education. He dove headfirst into everything outdoor sporting related and found a passion for being able to teach, and allow new people or students find something they love within that spectrum. Throughout his years in college he spent a summer out in southern Utah, working for a wilderness therapy program. This was his first exposure to therapeutic recreation and he was able to see just how impactful these activities can be on people. He realized this was something he wanted to do. After that summer, he knew he was going to move to Utah, which is exactly what he did after graduating college. His specialties are climbing and the triathlons. As far as spare time goes, there is no spare time! He tries to pack as much adventure and life as possible into everyday he has on this beautiful planet with amazing friends, his fiancée, and obviously his dog Denali.
“This world is full of friends that I haven’t met yet, but I plan to meet them on mountain tops, down fast rivers, or in the middle of a triathlon race” -Kevin
