Kim Williams-Redmond

Kim was born in Camden, South Carolina and still considers that home, although she has resided
in Utah for several years. Kim graduated from Coker University with Bachelors in Sociology
with a concentration in Social Work and a Minor in Psychology and Dance. Kim has worked in
mental health since 1995 where she started working with sexual assault and domestic violence
victims. She has also held many different positions in the residential setting, such as Direct Care
Staff, Team Director, and Residential Program Director. She completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2011 and has been a primary therapist with Elevations since 2014. Kim finds adolescent treatment rewarding and specializes in students with trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, treatment resistant, issues unique to the LGBTQIA population as well family system difficulties. Kim is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In her spare time, she is the personal assistant to her teenage twins (lovingly known as Frick and Frack). She also loves to hike, enjoys a spa day, reading, and playing with her sweet dog Piper.
