Residential Treatment Center for Troubled Teens
HELP YOUR CHILD REDISCOVER THE PERSON THEY ARE
As one of the top programs for troubled teens, Elevations RTC has a tight knit community based in a comfortable, nurturing environment. Our campus has the feel of a small, private boarding school. Unlike other residential treatment programs, large classrooms, library, climbing wall, full gym, art studio, athletic fields, dining room, and multiple residence halls, we have many amenities.
While this expansive campus is very useful for providing a comprehensive program it is still important we promote a community feel and personalization to promote a sense of normalcy unique to our program.
Smaller teams within a large community
When teens head back to their dorms at the end of the day, they come home to their own small community of students and staff. Students are split up into teams of 10-16 by gender and age. This allows students to become the closest with those people they probably relate to the most and who likely share similar backgrounds. These communities include staff members from the clinical, academic, residential life, and administrative staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our students.
These communities within a community can become like your teen’s family during their time at Elevations, one of the top residential treatment programs.
Co-ed campus helps encourage a normal high school feel
Unlike other residential treatment programs, the co-ed aspect of our program gives teens the opportunity to feel like they’re in a normal high school setting. Teens build friendships with all of their peers on campus, including those of the opposite sex. When teens are able to interact and form bonds with their peers, it is easier for them to transition into a traditional school environment after they leave Elevations.
Community roles that develop responsibility
Assigning community roles helps give students purpose and responsibility on their team. For example, Ajax is responsible for assigning time to students for laundry throughout the week. Rooster wakes the team on time each day. Mr. Clean gets cleaning supplies prepared for the team. Each and every community role contributes to the overall functioning of the team and helps to build strong, dependable relationships and responsibility among students.
An enjoyable environment
At Elevations RTC, we encourage a sense of fun on our campus, offering exciting on-campus activities and off-campus service and activities. Teens at one of the top residential treatment programs who enter into our program have been through a lot. We like to lighten the mood with fun team activities and adventurous experiential expeditions off campus such as rafting and snowboarding.
