Timber
Taylor's Dog
The Gentle Soul with a Jolly Ball and a Howl
Timber has been a beloved part of campus for 5 years, and at 8 years old, he’s found his happy place—surrounded by students, dog friends, and his favorite game: fetch. Whether he’s chasing his horse jolly ball or romping around with the other campus pups, Timber thrives on play and connection.
But Timber’s journey hasn’t always been easy. He was in four different homes in just one year, and sadly, not all of them were kind. When he first joined campus life, he was shy and unsure, understandably hesitant to trust. Over time, with patience and love, Timber began to break out of his shell—and today, he’s a playful, affectionate, and deeply loyal companion.
He’s a total foodie (human snacks are his weakness) and has a soft spot for his canine pals Alana (Tiff’s dog) and Daisy (Nessa’s dog). And if you ever heard howling at the end of treatment team meetings, that was probably Timber singing his heart out with his buddy Fin.
Now, Timber is not just surviving—he’s thriving. A little shy, a little silly, and all heart, Timber reminds everyone that with a second chance and the right people (and dogs) around you, it’s possible to feel safe, loved, and at home.
